Dktron: three meanings that accounting must preserve
Dktron is proposed as a unit for accounting and accessing the material capacity of Drayker. Its design distinguishes resources held in common, allocations entrusted to a project and balances attributed to a person. These records have different purposes and obligations, even when expressed in the same unit.
Common capacity
Common reserves represent resources available for support and collective activity. Their usefulness depends on the assets, services and liquidity actually available, together with accountable decisions about allocation. An accounting entry alone does not create the resource it represents.
Project allocations
A project allocation places capacity under temporary custody for an agreed purpose. Its record should identify the authorised use, responsible participants and review conditions. Unspent resources return according to the approved terms, including the treatment of completion or abandonment. Custody is distinct from a personal balance.
Personal balances
A member’s personal balance may be retained, transferred or converted through an authorised resource or liquidity bridge. Inactivity alone does not cause forfeiture. Conversion for needs such as housing, food or tools depends on real reserves and the conditions of the bridge. The design grants neither passive yield nor constitutional authority merely for holding a balance.
For example, closing a project could require returning an unused project allocation while the same participant keeps a separately attributed personal balance. The ledger must preserve that distinction and prevent the same capacity from being counted or spent twice.
Related records
Contextual reputation concerns contribution and evidence. DAF federative points concern a separate governance experiment. Neither is interchangeable with a Dktron balance. The interpretation and treatment of contributions belong in explicit governance rules, rather than an automatic exchange rate between money and standing.
Development boundary
No Dktron is currently issued, priced, sold or exchangeable. Reserve accounting, redemption and liquidity mechanisms require specification and testing. A first worked ledger should demonstrate the three spheres, authorised transfers, project closure and a redemption limited by actual available resources.
